Tour Details

Ready to discover the most exotic neighborhood in Singapore? At the designated time, we'll begin our free tour of Chinatown from Exit B of the Telok Ayer Station.

After a short introduction, we'll head to the Sri Mariamman Temple, the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore. You'll surely be amazed by the stunning relief on its gopuram towers!

Our next stop will be in front of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, considered the heart of the Chinatown neighborhood in Singapore. We'll tell you about its history and decoration, and discover why this sanctuary is so important for the district's inhabitants.

Then, we'll stroll toward Sago Lane, where you'll find out why it's known as the "Street of the Dead." Our tour will then continue at the Fuk Tak Chi Museum, dedicated to the history of Chinese immigrants.

Next, we'll reach the Maxwell Food Centre, a popular food hall in Chinatown, where, if you want, you can enjoy the different local specialties like rice with chicken or oyster cakes at your own pace.

Afterward, we'll head to the Thian Hock Keng Temple to see this majestic temple built without nails and explain how it was erected. After 2.5 hours, we'll conclude our free tour of Singapore's Chinatown neighborhood at the Chinatown Complex.
